Custom Moldable Awareness Earpiece for Clear Tube, Radio, Surveillance, and Communication Headsets

I’m an air traffic controller of 18 years, took a chance with these looking for a molded earpiece. Works great! Once I got it dialed in, it’s super comfortable loud and crisp audio. Highly recommend.

Once you mold it to your ears it’s awesome.

I order these and they did not fit the connection to my walkie. There is no way to tell from the pictures whether or not you get the earpiece or the earpiece PLUS the "connector" There is also no way to tell if the the entire set is compatible with my walkie. Very frustrating.

The actual process of molding the ear piece was very simple and user friendly. However, I purchased the “Awareness” model, but it felt like my ear was under water, very difficult to hear outside noise which is important while working in law enforcement. Also the sound through the piece isn’t great. No matter how high I turned up my radio, I’d often have difficulty hearing radio traffic. Lastly, the piece itself would start causing ear pain after a few hours. I used the ear piece for 4 entire ten hours shift hoping I would be able to adjust, but I just couldn’t take it anymore and switched back to my previous.

Realy nice cheap and really nice

Molding for a perfect fit was easy. Very comfortable. Audio was loud and did not seem to correlate with radio volume changes. Volume over the earpiece was constant. The audio also sounded muffled. I checked the radio with a different earpiece and it very clear .

Way more comfortable than most of other earplugs and being set up for surveillance/ security is a definite plus.

I have been using the Decibles Survelliance Custom moldable for the past two seasons as a red hat (toc) for football at Bucknell University and as a concierge at mens and wome's basketball games at Sojka Pavillion. The soundboard on the football field and the overall noise music and announcements make using a two radio impossible without a dedicated ear piece. When you still need to communicate with officials, event support staff and general public you still need to communicate without wearing a dedicated double head set. I purchased more of these for Christmas presents with staff I need to communicate with. They are comfortable for hours of wear. . thanks for making them affordable, comfortable and affective

I have had these ear budz for 2 weeks and have re formed them twice and am thinking of forming them again. I use the community wig during work, it is very good quailty and works well and I can finally hear but the pain created but the protective piece makes it almost not worth wearing. I wear them for a few days before I reform each piece but the discomfort that is caused in the bowl of my ear by the consistent pressure and is becoming intolerable. I reformed the ear piece and tried to push the form from the back of my ear to relieve the pressure with no success. Im going to try again, hopefully I can relieve the pain.

I watched the video twice before i formed the first time and once before each try. I would love some help, Iwant this to work.

Easy instructions but unhappy with how hard the ear piece gets. I followed the instructions as directed but the ear piece still hurts the concha and outer ear portions.

I love these earplugs they help drown out the rest of the world while listing to the radio traffic that is being broadcasted over them. Be careful in the molding processes though. I found that you can get the mold to deep in the ear canal and it hurts a little bit while wearing it all day. However, it is still very comfortable and I love Decibullz customs molds. I don't think I will buy any other earplugs again.

I’ve tried several earpieces over the years and in my opinion this one is by far the best. It’s comfortable to the point you forget it’s there. The sound quality is unmatched. I’ve recommended it to several people since purchasing mine.

Great solution that allows a custom, secure fit and maintain the ability to hear the environment around you. I didn't get the mold shape/fit quite right the first time and was able to put it back into hot water and fix the issue. Their customer service is great, very responsive. Pro tip with the +Awareness, despite the instructions/videos indicating to insert the mold with nothing in it; customer service recommended placing the mold in hot water with the solid back plug in place to help better keep the correct shape. After it hardens the back plug can be removed and swapped out for the +Awareness back plug. Also, you will want to be sure your acoustic tube adapter is the right size to to connect to the +Awareness back plug, one of mine fit perfectly and the other was the wrong size.

I am assigned to a large festival/fair grounds for 11 days. I purchased the Decibullz Awareness as I walk the festival all day and work the grandstand stage at night. I am in a loud environment all day. I found the earpiece easy to fit to my ear by following the instructions. I have worn the Decibullz Awareness for 6 days in a row. Each day I work over 12 hours. The Decibullz are very comfortable and the sound quality is exceptional. I molded the second earpiece included in the package to my other ear to wear as a standard ear plug during the grandstand shows when it is very loud. I recommend this product when using a portable radio in a loud environment.

I am a petite woman and I have abnormally small ears (lol!) and for years I have replaced and tried everything to keep my surveillance earpiece in my ears! Even used Bobbi pins, bandaids and tape!! My team has literally had to tape me on cue when we are gearing up to operate. I was referred by a guy at the range that had the same problem with his young daughter that shoots trap and he said they have surveillance molds as well; knowing that I don’t need the protection while on duty. I bought both the awareness and isolation so that I have the options for when we are clearing a house/building as a team or if on a 1 man drop or when I am on surveillance.
They stay in place so well that I have to manipulate to remove from my ear. I am also a female with really long hair so when I am working undercover, n comms keeping in place and not being worried my hair will pull it
out is no longer on my mind. It’s not “Officer safety”. It’s “Officers safety” and I will go to the ground for my brothers ANYDAY any minute…now I go not worried about losing comms.
I am also a RSO at my gun club so the ear protection molds with the back plugs have been a huge plus as others will understand i don’t care how much gel or foam padding you have 8hrs on the range starts to feel like vice grips on the ears. I am officially a decibullz fan girl!!! Thank you Decibullz!!
